The short version

Share Memory exists so families can gather photos, songs and stories in one gentle place. We collect as little as possible, we never sell information, and we never show ads.

What we collect

Your phone number is used only to text you a sign-in code. We do not keep the number itself: we store a protected fingerprint of it so we can recognize you next time, plus the last four digits so you can tell which number you used.

If you continue with Apple, Google or Facebook, we receive an account identifier and your first name. We never ask those services for your email, contacts or friends.

The name you choose, and the photos, songs, stories and gift details you add to a page.

Simple counts for each page (views, visitors and shares) so page creators can see how many people visited. These counts are not tied to anyone’s identity.

Who can see what

Pages can only be opened by people who have the link. Pages are never listed or searchable on Share Memory, and we ask search engines not to index them.

Photos, songs and stories sent by family and friends are visible only to the page creator until the creator chooses to show them. Anything sent privately stays visible only to the creator.

Photos are stored with unguessable web addresses so they can load quickly on the page.

Gifts and payments

Gift buttons open Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or other services directly. Share Memory never handles that money and never sees those transactions.

If you buy an additional page, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Your choices

Page creators can edit, pause or delete a page at any time from My pages. Deleting a page removes it from Share Memory.

Anyone can ask the page creator to remove something they shared.

Services we rely on

Vercel hosts the site and stores pages and photos. Twilio sends sign-in codes. Stripe processes payments. YouTube provides song search and playback. Each has its own privacy policy.
