How Share Memory works

Creating a page takes about two minutes. Here is everything, step by step.

Creating a page

  1. Sign in with your phone

Enter your mobile number and we’ll text you a code. No passwords to remember. You can also continue with Apple, Google or Facebook.

  2. Add a name and a photo

Type the name everyone knew them by and choose a main photo. Add a wide background photo if you like.

  3. Say a few words

Write a short message for the link preview and, if you want, a longer story. Everything saves as you type.

  4. Add photos and songs

Add photos 10 at a time and search for songs that remind you of them.

  5. Add gifts (optional)

List Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, Chime, PayPal or a fundraiser so people can help directly.

  6. Share your link

Tap Share to send your link by text, WhatsApp, Facebook or email — or show the QR code.

For family and friends

  1. Open the link

Anyone with the link can see the page. There is nothing to install.

  2. Tap “Add a memory”

Sign in with a phone number in a few seconds.

  3. Add photos, songs or a story

Up to 10 photos at a time. Find songs by typing a title or singer. Type or speak a memory.

  4. Send it

It goes to the person who created the page, who chooses what appears.

After you share

  1. Review what people add

Open My pages → Contributions. For each photo, song or story choose Show on page, Keep private, or Remove.

  2. See who has visited

Insights shows views, visitors, shares and how many people have added something.

  3. Download everything

In Settings, download all photos, songs and stories in one .zip for a slideshow or video.

Questions

Is Share Memory free?

Yes. Your first memory page is free, forever. If you’d like more pages, each one is $19 once and stays online for life.

Do I need a password?

No. Sign in with a code texted to your phone, or continue with Apple, Google or Facebook.

Who can see a page?

Only people who have the link. Pages are never listed or searchable on Share Memory, and search engines are asked not to index them.

Can other people add photos and songs?

Yes. Anyone with the link can add photos (10 at a time), songs and stories. You decide what appears on the page.

How do songs work?

Type any part of a title or a singer’s name and choose from YouTube results. Preview before adding, or paste a YouTube link.

Can people send money to the family?

Yes. Add Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, Chime, PayPal or a fundraiser link. Gifts go directly to you — Share Memory never handles the money.

Can I keep some things private?

Yes. Every photo, song and story people send can be shown on the page, kept private for you, or removed.

Can I make a slideshow or video?

You can download every photo, song and story in one tap. Photos keep their captions and years, which makes a slideshow easy.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. Share Memory switches to Spanish automatically when your phone is set to Spanish, and you can switch any time.
